Engineering Assistant/QC/Assembler
Compensation: $18 per hour to start; increase upon completion of 90 day probationary period.
Employment type: Part time to start.
Doug Fleenor Design, Inc. has been providing engineering solutions to the entertainment lighting industry since 1990. We are a small engineering and manufacturing firm based in the San Luis Obispo area of the central coast of California. Our products are known for quality and reliability. What You Will Be Doing
- Electronic assembly- Quality control
- Testing of circuit boards and finished products
- Packaging and Receiving
What You Need for this Position
- Experience in circuit board assembly and soldering- Flexibility and desire to work where job descriptions do not really apply
- Ability and willingness to fill and package orders
- Ability to communicate well
- Experience in the entertainment industry is helpful
- Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing situation, with minimal guidance
- Desire to work in a very small company
- Ability to work well with the rest of the staff in a very non-traditional setting
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift up 50lbs
- Basic computer [Windows] experience
